Carrier Fees

Innerbloom Solutions CRM has partnered with third-party network providers to offer you full phone functionality directly within your CRM account. In order to provide you this service, usage of certain features may incur charges based on your activity.

Carrier Fees Simplified

For every SMS message sent, there is a carrier fee. The cost is determined on a carrier-by-carrier basis. For example, if you are sending to a customer who has Verizon as their phone carrier, it will be different than if they have AT&T or another carrier. Below are the carrier fees you can typically expect per SMS message sent:

Verizon:

$0.003 per registered outbound/inbound SMS message segment

$0.005 per registered outbound/inbound MMS message

AT&T:

$0.002 per registered outbound SMS message segment

$0.0035 per registered outbound MMS message

T Mobile (including Sprint)

$0.003 per registered outbound/inbound SMS message segment

$0.01 per registered outbound/inbound MMS message

Other Carriers:

$0.003 per registered outbound/inbound SMS message segment

$0.005 per registered outbound/inbound MMS message

You can see a transaction history and charges from phone carriers by logging into your dashboard going to Settings > Company Billing > See Transactions > Other Charges.

A2P10DLC

Phone Registration

Starting July 5, 2023, all 10DLC phone numbers used to send SMS and MMS messages to U.S. numbers must be registered to an approved campaign under your business brand. Registration is essential to comply with regulations, ensure delivery, and prevent messages from being marked as spam.

A2P (Application-to-Person) registration is the process businesses go through to officially register their phone numbers for sending application-generated messages to individuals. A2P messages are typically used for marketing campaigns, notifications, alerts, and two-factor authentication.

Innerbloom Solutions CRM has invested in a streamlined process for registration. You can now register your phone account directly through your account using Trust Center.

Trust Center can be found once you are logged into your CRM dashboard going to settings > phone numbers > Trust Center.

To ensure compliance, brand approval, and tips for registration, please follow the steps below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay for calls and texts?

Only if you plan to use the phone system through your Innerbloom Solutions CRM account. If you do not wish to, that is totally fine. You can still use all of the other powerful features, tools, and resources.

Am I able to have more than one phone number?

Yes, you have the ability to purchase as many phone numbers as you wish. However, to register multiple numbers with the campaign registry, you will be required to have an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and complete a standard registration.

You can apply for an EIN for FREE with the IRS here. You will receive your business EIN immediately to use for your registration.

If you are a Sole Proprietor (those without an EIN) you will not be able to use additional numbers for text messaging.

Note: If you are using numerous phone numbers your campaign registration will no longer be linked to your phone nymber you registered with. This will unfortunately impact the deliverability rates dependent on your sender reputation.

How often will I be charged for sms, calls, and emails?

It is entirely based on your usage. You will be charged on a per sms, call, and email basis.

Does this impact my CRM subscription?

Not at all. The carrier fees and usage costs are completely separate from you CRM subscription.

Why do I have to pay to register my phone number?

The fees originate from mobile carriers in order to register and monitor your brand. Our service providers pass this fee to us, and we, in turn, pass it on to you. This fee is due to a new US regulation imposed by phone carriers and will apply no matter which CRM or SaaS platform you use. Innerbloom Solutions CRM has provided simple tools for registration and does not profit from brand or campaign registration fees.

Why is there a limit on how many messages I can send?

Texting through a platform like Innerbloom Solutions CRM is monitored and regulated by A2P rules and our provider, LC Phone. These regulations, updated in 2023, are enforced by carriers to minimize spam via SMS and are now standard for all application-based messaging services. You may encounter different types of SMS limits, including:

Ramp Up Model:

New accounts start with a gradually increasing daily limit for the first week of texting. Each day’s limit must be met to advance to a higher SMS capacity. The Ramp Up Model begins with the first successful text sent.

- Day 1: 100

- Day 2: 250

- Day 3: 500

- Day 4: 750

- Day 5: 1,500

- Day 6: 2,250

- Day 7: 3,000

- Day 8 and beyond: 3,000+

A2P Registration Type:

Your business registration determines your texting capacity. To send the highest volume of SMS, you need an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and should register as a "High Volume" brand.

1. Sole Proprietor (No EIN): 3,000 SMS segments/day

2. EIN Low Volume: 6,000 SMS segments/day

3. EIN High Volume: 60,000 SMS segments/day

(Note: Each SMS segment is 160 characters, and longer texts may use multiple segments.)
